Isaburo Hanayagi Hits the Bride

Trained kabuki dancer and long-time Taiko drumming instructor Isaburo Hanayagi returned to the Bride this spring. He’s been on sabatical from his regular job at Tamagawa University, where he leads the Tamagawa Taiko drum and dance ensemble (which has appeared at the Bride during several of the past spring seasons). While he wasn’t able to bring that group to the Bride this year, Hanayagi did stop by the Bride to show groups of children and adults some of the tricks of the Taiko trade.
