King Britt and interactive artist Rucyl Mills invite today’s most innovative artists to stretch the boundaries of genre, rhythm, and concept in musical conversation. Saturn Never Sleeps combines audio visual micro-components into a thought altering world of sight and sound. Live musicians of acoustic and electronic inventions are curated as objects of art, coming together to create a dimensional environment of delectable oscillations and bleeps for the modern audiophile. Guest appearances by today’s visual and sonic innovators stretch the boundaries of genre, rhythm, and concept. Immerse yourself in the space where Saturn Never Sleeps, a celebration of the electric sound phenomenon.
September 26th is the opening night of SNS featuring performances by Los Angeles soundbreaking Flying Lotus and Seattle’s Shabazz Palaces. Also the Saturn Never Sleeps Ensemble composed (this month) of King Britt, Rucyl Mills, Damon Bennett and Tim Motzer. Visuals by Jason Senk and Peter Kirn.
SNS was originally created by music producer/Pew Fellowship ‘07 winner King
Britt and interactive artist/NYU ITP Graduate Rucyl Mills for two
performances specifically dedicated to the music and sound of Sun-Ra.
Inspired by the works of classic electronic innovators like Herbie Hancock,
Raymond Scott and Delia Derbyshire.
Recurring monthly on Thursdays, October 15, November 12 and December 17.

Wilson Hill Says:
Just a quick note to promote Flying Lotus - I traveled from Baltimore to Albany to see him at Camp Bisco this past July, and it was well worth it! The music took me a few listens to really appreciate, but it was also stuck in my head since the first pass. I’m thrilled FL is coming back to the east coast, and you should be, too!
