The Curtis Brothers Quartet led by Grammy-nominated Zaccai Curtis (piano) and his brother, Grammy award-winner Luques Curtis (acoustic bass) features Richie Barshay (drums), Reinaldo DeJesus (congas) and special guest, young tenor sax sensation Marcus Strickland. Their ability to lead the ensemble into sustained group conversations while maintaining each player’s distinctive style speaks to their strong foundation in Latin Jazz history and also demonstrates the benefits of their work with giants such as Papo Vasquez and Eddie Palmieri.
