Getting to the Bride
Located at 230 Vine Street, one block north of the Ben Franklin bridge, Painted Bride is positioned on a peaceful residential block of Old City. When on the hunt for the Bride, look for the large building’s mosaic tile façade by Isaiah Zagar of Philadelphia Magic Gardens.
SEPTA Riders: SEPTA bus routes No. 17, 33, 44, and 48 run East to West on Market Street and No. 57 runs North on 3rd Street and South on 4th Street.
Drivers: If this is your first trip to the Bride, know that street parking can be quite LIMITED. We recommend giving yourself 25 additional minutes to secure street parking. If you plan to use a parking garage, we still suggest that you leave early. Click here to find a Google map of several parking destinations conveniently located in walking proximity to the Bride.
Parking Reservations: We have partnered with SpotHero the nationwide leader in online parking reservations, to allow visitors to purchase guaranteed parking near the Painted Bride Art Center. View real-time availability and pricing at several convenient locations nearby.
Once purchased, parking is 100% guaranteed even if the location otherwise fills up. Simply present your purchase confirmation at the selected location, and this serves as your payment with no additional payments or fees ever. Parking availability is very limited, so it is strongly recommended that you purchase your parking in advance, if driving.
