(DIQ) will present a program of works performed by the company’s 7 dancers who excel both technically and dramatically, several with Philadelphia connections.  The night will feature 3 premieres choreographed by Iquail Shaheed (DIQ Artistic Director), and Christopher Ralph (an emerging New York City-based choreographer). Lynn Harris.  Song of The Sacred (2010), a full company work, set to an original score by composer Dylan Ezzie, exploring various plights that humans face while seeking salvation and addressing specific religious perils including depravity, homosexuality, self-indulgence, molestation, and repentance. The program will also include: Night Falls (2010), the smash-hit solo set to music of the same title by Booka Shade, and, For You (2010), created as a surprise for an unsung hero in Philadelphia’s Dance Community, whose tirelessly service to youth spans over 4 decades.
