In the creative spirit of last season’s Fresh Cut from the Vine concert featuring new works from promising emerging local jazz composers, we present Homegrown Gatherings: Sunday Jazz Series– an afternoon of improvised creative expression in a casual setting where creators from various disciplines come together to play and exchange, while spectators gather around or join the spontaneity. Adding something or someone new to the creative mix at each edition, we’ll always feature the Fresh Cut Ensemble: Josh Lawrence, Jason Fraticelli, and Anwar Marshall. This month’s special guest is John Swana.
Audiences of all ages from community are welcomed to enjoy a full afternoon of music, food provided by a local food truck, drink, fellowship, and fun. We will also have an arts and crafts area for children.
