Celebrating its 45th anniversary, Philadelphia’s premiere African dance company, Kulu Mele, returns to the Painted Bride with Danzas de Cuba presented by PNC Arts Alive. Featuring the acclaimed Oyu Oro Afro Cuban Experimental Dance Ensemble and new choreography by Oyu Oro Artistic Director Danys “LaMora” Perez and Philadelphia-based choreographer Mora Amador, Danzas de Cuba will showcase Afro-Cuban dance at its best.
