Derived from Sanskrit, the word mandala translates to “sacred circle.” In Hindu and Buddhist cultures, this symbol represents wholeness—the natural relationship between our bodies, our inner selves, and the infinite. Hosted by choreographer and visual artist Tatiana Hassan, this workshop is a fun, active introduction to the sacred world of mandala.
During this workshop, participants will create an original mandala drawing and discover the connection between body, mind, and spirit through kinesthetic meditation exercises.
All knowledge and skill levels are welcome to enjoy this free workshop. Mandala can be expressed at any time by anyone.
