Join Painted Bride Art Center and 900AM-WURD for the next installment of “The Invitation,” a new 4-part series of interactive conversations where diverse and divergent viewpoints are welcome. On Tuesday, May 26th, join us as we will lay the groundwork for a critical dialogue between Black and White men about Race, Manhood and Power.
As Philadelphia, along with other major metropolitan areas, increasingly struggles with racial demographic shifts, we must engage in crucial conversations about space, place and presence. We invite you to help plan and frame the conversation and critical dialogue moving forward! The conversation will be led by Eric Grimes (Brother Shomari), Nick Taliaferro, Andrew Simonet, and Rob Levin.
