Prof. C.V.Chardrasekhar, Viji Rao and Three Aksha Dance
Three Aksha presents Sajeeva, an evening of Bharatanatyam by the legendary Prof. C.V.Chandrasekhar. Showcasing some of the finest and most innovative Bharatanatyam technique, Sajeeva takes the classical Indian dance form of Bharatanatyam and makes it contemporary within its own vocabulary. Alongside some of his original choreographies Three Aksha will also be presenting his work Kreeda, a lively representation of universally known games through the medium of Bharatanatyam. The choreography involves popular desi games like hopscotch, skipping to the mellifluous music and bringing an additional dimension to the choreography. Prof. C.V.Chandrasekhar will be performing few of his master piece choreographies.
