Live Philly Artists Performing at Satellite Election Sites
October 24, October 31, and November 3 from Noon to 1pm

(Philadelphia, PA)   In celebration of our democracy working in action The Bride presents  Celebrate Your Voice, a series of on site performances at Philadelphia satellite election sites to serenade voters as they drop off voting ballots.  Local Philadelphia performers, featuring Movemakers Philly and Urban Movement Arts youth hip-hop dancers, hand drummer Karen Smith, performance poet Nina Lyrispect, and salsa Maestro Flaco will spread their love at ballot drop off locations on Saturday, October 24, Saturday, October 31 and on election day, Tuesday November 3 from noon to 1pm.  Sites include the High School for Creative & Performing Arts, the Liacouras Center on Temple’s campus and Overbrook Elementary School.  For details visit www.PaintedBride.org.

This showcase of talents will uplift voters with their artistic voices, reminding us that every vote and every voice counts.  “We wanted to celebrate this important civic duty and give voters and our next generation of voters a sense of hope, “ explains Laurel Raczka, Executive Director of the Painted Bride.
