ICYMI: Art and Change Collective Teams Up with Strangeloves for First Ever Happy Hour
On Monday, August 14th, the Art and Change Collective (ACC) hosted its first-ever happy hour event at Strangelove’s Beer Garden, 216 S. 11th Street in Center City.
From 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. ACC members and their guests enjoyed a discounted happy hour menu featuring locally brewed craft beer and cajun-inspired bites like corn fritters, taquitos, kielbasa corn dogs, and pork fish sticks. ACC President Giva Wilkerson welcomed all guests to the event, followed by three hours of drinks, socializing, and networking. Painted Bride founder Gerry Givnish was also in attendance as a guest of our current Executive Director, Laurel.
In addition to the drinks and fare, the ACC raffled for complimentary tickets to any Bride event. Proceeds will benefit the Painted Bride Art Center and the Art and Change Collective.
Painted Bride and the ACC sends special thanks to Morgan and the team at Strangelove’s Beer Garden for a great evening. Visit Stranglove’s online at www.strangelovesbeerbar.com/.
