Maggie Mills (she/her) is Associate Professor of Art at Cedar Crest College and President of the Board of Brush with the Law, a community re-entry art program. Mills is a Center for Emerging Visual Artists fellow, Fleisher Wind Challenge winner, and was awarded the SCEE Landlab residency. Her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions including those at the Michener Museum, Delaware Contemporary, Moore College of Art, and Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. Mills’ work addresses the effects that climate change, isolation, and the digital realm have on our contemporary landscape and the legacy we leave to subsequent generations through this landscape. Her writing on the intersection of for-profit healthcare, our failing safety net, and Disability has been published in Salon, Monthly Review, and elsewhere.
