Blood Baby: Primordial

Primordial is a site-responsive, sculptural movement practice, known as rock drag, presented in a video and sound installation by visual artist (and Foley’s partner and co-parent) Carmichael Jones, to connect geology, transformation, and queer gestation. (looped, 35m)
Part of Blood Baby, a queer and trans exploration of lineage, family, and how we are each individually formed from artist Meg Foley and the Painted Bride.
Open installation times:
- 6/8: 12-6pm, with opening reception 4-6pm
- 6/10: 12-5pm
- 6/13 – 6/16: 12-5pm
- 6/19 – 6/23: 12-5pm
ACCESSIBILITY: Painted Bride is wheelchair accessible and has no stairs to enter or access the bathrooms inside. You enter via ramp, and the floor is carpet and wood laminate. Bathroom is gender neutral and single stall.
