Conjuring Joy at the Bride – Call for Artists

Conjuring Joy at the Bride is the Painted Bride’s new artist residency program, seeking to connect our local West Philadelphia neighborhood with the arts, and an intimate cohort of community artists with our community and one another. Three Philadelphia-based artists will be selected to share the Painted Bride’s space for 10 weeks of rehearsal/studio time between January 8th through March 17th for approximately 12-15 hrs/wk.

Resident artists will receive:

• A $2,000 stipend for their residency
• Access to the Bride’s studio and rehearsal space for two months (schedule to be developed with the Bride staff)
• Promotion of resident artists on the Painted Bride’s newsletter, social media, and blog
