New Paradise Labs and “The Adults”

This spring NewParadiseLabs took over the Bride with a reboot of their show 27 “…this time around, it’s gorgeous, heartbreaking, funny, and terrifying all at once.” – Wendy Rosenfield, The Inquirer
Right after the close of a very successful run of 27 the NPL crew jumped head first into their 2014 FringeArts show, The Adults. They’re currently in residence at Swarthmore College putting the show together for its September 3rd debut right here at the Bride.
By a mysterious lake in the mountains, two families gather at a vacation house to let loose, play out a classic comedy of manners that never existed, and prod each other with intimate cruelty. Outside, the natural world festers with dangers beyond human control; inside, human nature resides and adults behave badly.
