Our music curator, Lenny Seidman, is almost always listening to music at his desk. From time to time we ask him what he’s listening to. Today his answer was: Rais Khan playing sitar with Zakir Hussain on tabla.

Ustad Rais Khan is a legendary Pakistani sitarist born in Indore, India. He is the torch bearer of a renowned musical family which traces back thirty generations. Zakir Hussain is a tabla-percussion master who is an international world music phenomenon. The Bride has had the privilege of having Zakir perform on our stage many times between 1989 and present day. We are excited to announce that he will back on Saturday, October 6th at 7pm! His engagements are always a sellout affair so get your tickets early!
