Most would agree that food and memory are inseparable. Unique tastes, smells, and textures can transport us back through time, returning us to kitchens, corner tables, and community gatherings where laughter and stories were shared. Relish & Remember invites neighbors to join an open table of memory, honoring the foodways of 52nd Street and the people who have shaped them.

Led by project director Pamela Hooks, the afternoon features a Memory Potluck tasting with dishes from local restaurants and community cooks, wine, live poetry featuring Aziza Zenzile Kebe, and a behind-the-scenes recipe exchange in an intimate memory circle with featured chefs. Guests will share stories, ask questions, and celebrate the culinary legacy of a neighborhood that continues to bring people together for good times and good plates.

Space is limited to 50 participants. Reserve your seat today and be part of an afternoon of food, memory, and community at the Paul Robeson House and Museum.
