AN EVENING OF STORY, PERFORMANCE & COMMUNITY
For several years, VO52nd Street: Then & Now has moved throughout West Philadelphia, listening, gathering, remembering, celebrating, and documenting.
Residents have shared memories. Artists have brought their creativity. Educators and young people have added new perspectives. Community organizations, businesses, civic leaders, activists, cultural partners, and neighborhood institutions have helped create spaces for those stories to be heard.
On November 5, we’re bringing those voices and experiences together for an evening of reflection and celebration.

A CAPSTONE, NOT AN ENDING
November 5 marks an important moment in the journey of VO52nd Street: Then & Now, but it is not a final ending.
The relationships, stories, and momentum generated through the project continue to point toward what comes next. This evening is an opportunity to look back at what has been gathered, recognize the many people who made it possible, and celebrate the collective memory that continues to live along 52nd Street.
