Voices of 52nd Street: Then & Now is a community archive and celebration of the Historic West Philadelphia Corridor by West Philadelphia-born multimedia artist Pam Hooks and West Philadelphia-based arts nonprofit Painted Bride.
Our neighborhood is changing quickly – we want to document our stories, and bring neighbors together for community and healing.
The fashion, the music, the food and the political activism. Together, we’ll share our stories through in-person meetings, online photos and videos, and arts events to bring the generations together.
