Voices of 52nd Street – Then and Now is a community remembrance & restoration project by West Philly-born multimedia artist Pam Hooks and West Philly-based arts nonprofit Painted Bride.

Our neighborhood is changing quickly – we want to document our stories, and bring neighbors together for community and healing.

The fashion, the music, the food and the political activism. Together, we’ll share our stories through in-person meetings, online photos and videos, and arts events to bring the generations together.
