For women/femmes, all ages welcome (on-site childcare provided). Black and Brown folks centered.

Gathering to Thrive @ Lucien Blackwell Community Center will include programs designed for the sharing, exploration, and discovery of new pathways to holistic health and wellbeing for Black and Brown women in West Philly.

This is the second of four public event offerings. It will feature a 90-minute panel led by and centering the voices of emergent and master healers with practices intersecting within the fields of alternative medicine and herbalism, childcare and self-care, art and creative resilience. As essential elements of healing and catalysts of growth— art, music, poetry, and ritual are incorporated into this dynamic wellness exchange program.

Alongside the panel and performances will be a wellness market curated by Get Fresh Daily and hot food served by That Pikliz Jawn. This market will feature fresh food and giveaways from local vendors.

Part of Gathering to Thrive: A West Philly Radical Wellness Exchange.
